Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Pakse to visit Tad Yeung Waterfall, coffee plantation Paksong bolaven plateau and Tad Fane Twin Waterfalls for Laos longest and highest ziplining experience, before seeing Phou salao viewpoint sunset.
Our will begin from your hotel, pick up will be approx. 9:00am. From here we will travel approx. 45 minutes to visit Tad Yeung Waterfall. And you will have the opportunity to explore the spectacular waterfall. Tad Yeung is a formidable torrent cascading through the picturesque jungle surroundings, truly a Highlights of Southern Laos. After taking in the views, our tour continues to the coffee shop, then take a walk around to see coffee plantation and try some favorite coffee you like. After here we will go to the truly incredible Tad Fane twin falls, for a once in a lifetime ziplining experience. This thrilling ziplining adventure is not for the faint hearted! Being both the highest and longest zipline in the whole of Laos, you will have the opportunity to experience souring across the 470 meters zipline, 300 meters off the ground, all above the two 120 meters twin Tad Fane waterfalls below. This is truly an experience like no other if you’re brave enough to attempt it.
Once finished at Tad Fane Waterfalls, the trip will head to Pakse City and visit Phou Salao Temple Mountain, it's viewpoint to see gorgeous view of Pakse City, then trip will continue approx. 30 minutes to Champasak pier, then hop on the boat cross to Don Deng " Red Island" to stay and check in at Lafolie Lodge on the Mekong River Island it's opposite Champasak old town.
Day 2 - DONDANG"RED ISLAND" TO DONDET(4000 ISLANDS), VIA WAT PHOU CHAMPASAK, THE LARGEST AND GRANDEST WATERFALL IN SOUTHEAST ASIA, KHONPHA PHENG.
After breakfast, we will check out of our Lafolie Loge, pick up is approx. 9:00am. and travel approx. 10KM by boat from "Red Island" cross Mekong River to Champasak pier, then hop on the minibus going to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wat Phou temple complex. Located in the Champasak old town, situated beside the base of the Phou Kao Mountain, and the mighty Mekong River. This ancient Khmer Temple complex dates as far back as the 5th century, and had been occupied at various periods since, giving it a rich and diverse history. After leaning the history of the site with your guide, our tour continues to Champasak pier where we will board a ferry across the Mekong River. From here we will travel approx. 2:30 hours to visit the largest and grandest waterfall in southeast in Asia, Khon Pha Peng. This natural wonder will leave you in awe of the spectacular power mother nature can wield.
Once finished at the fall, we will head on to Nakasang village, where we will board a motorized longboat across the Mekong River to the island of Dondet, colloquially know as 4000 islands of the multitude of sand islands lining this section of the Mekong River.
After checking into our island accommodation. we go out for lunch. After finished lunch, we will go to swim at the swimming pools and relax until to dinner times.
Day 3 - Our optional day tour to explore 4000 islands by Kayaking or cycling to visit Liphee Mekong waterfall.
After breakfast, our experienced tour guide will meet you at your hotel and pick up is approx. 8:00am. From here we will begin the tour from Dondet pier by kayaking down Mekong River to visit Liphee waterfall. If we do a cycling tour, we will start from Dondet cycling on offroad to Liphee waterfall and ziplining. Then take a walk surrounding to take a pictures and swimming on the Mekong beach. After Liphee waterfall, then cycling to visit Hangkhon village. It was old pier during Laos was colonized of France. And we will see both countries between Laos and Cambodia border. After we will Cycling back to our hotel, then shower and relax. Dondet is perfect location for dinner and drinking and this evening makes the end of the tour. You will have a final farewell party and have opportunity to say goodbye to your fellow travellers and tour guide.
Day 4 - Optional transfer to Pakse airport or bus station. Optional transfers to include Travel from Dondet. (Various destinations available by Prior arrangement).
After breakfast, pick up is 8:00am. you have the option to travel back with your tour guide on minibus to Pakse city and can be dropped at a number of locations.
